I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. My mother is from Java and my dad is British.

Asian sounds are in my DNA.

I am now 18, and a composition student at Chetham's Music School.

I hope to go on to one of the major conservatoires in 2025.

I have never visited Thailand. Inspiration for this project has come from British artist and Slade School of Art  Professor Andrew Stahl.  His relationship with Thailand spans many years. In 2022, following his exhibition at MATDOT Bangkok, Andy invited me to put music to his footage – Bangkok Sparkling City.

Now I am ready, to see for myself,  the golden spires and sparkling skyscrapers and hear the songs

and city hum.  I will check out the 711s and order I am told the best street food in the world.
